ECTS credit points

Each participant can receive a certificate at the end of the summer university for the attended courses. This certificate is issued when you regularly participate in the courses and pass a written test at the end. The ECTS credit points achieved are shown on the certificate. These ECTS credit points may be credited by your home university as academic achievement (you should consult your university on this issue).

If you do not wish to take an exam, you will receive a confirmation of attendance.

German language proficiency test: TestDaF

In September, you can also acquire a certificate verifying your German language skills in Bayreuth. Attendees of the middle and upper levels (B2-C1) have the opportunity to take the TestDaF exam. Please pay attention to the period of application! Registration and payment of the examination fee have to be done directly on www.testdaf.de.
